Visit of Asby and Cosby

Two teams were fielded for the league weekend and both were strong teams which won. The seconds notched up a 88/5 win over cosby and it was a sheer joy to watch with some good interlinking play between the forwards and the backs, from a team that had not trained together and some of them did not even know each others name. Ash Button and Andy Deacon both scored a hat trick of tries with Monk and Chris Dix both getting 2 tries each and Geordie getting a try. Pete Smith converted all but 2 of the tries scored one try himself and a good drop kick goal to get the scoreboard ticking over. Bozza went into loosehead prop and did a fantastic job with his stunning run from the 22 yard line in his own half to run the ball back at cosby to score a try. I was really impressed by the whole team and am looking for the same people to be available to travel to take on Loughbourgh 4s next week.
